Natalie E. Christie
Ms. Christie is an associate attorney originally from Mission Hills, Kansas. While attending Texas Christian University on a merit scholarship, Ms. Christie earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Communications with minors in both Business and French. During her time at TCU, Ms. Christie was a member of Delta Gamma sorority, where she held various offices, the Order of Omega, and was a TCU Emerging Leader.
After receiving her undergraduate degree, Ms. Christie worked for three years as the Promotions and Advertising Director for a large commercial real-estate development company in Kansas City, Missouri.
Finally pursuing her passion for the law, Ms. Christie attended the Oklahoma City University School of Law on a merit scholarship, where she was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity, Public Interest Law Group, and the Moot Court Society. While at OCU Law, Ms. Christie earned several distinctions including Faculty Honor Roll, Dean's List, and a CALI award for earning top honors in her Appellate Research and Writing course. She was a recipient of the Dean’s Pro Bono & Public Interest Law Fellowship and chosen to be a Law Student Member of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg American Inn of Court. Further, Ms. Christie was a clinical student with OCU LAW’s Oklahoma Innocence Clinic, where she examined wrongful convictions in Oklahoma through investigating current cases with credible evidence of factual innocence.
During law school, Ms. Christie gained valuable legal experience through her volunteer time with the Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma and internship with the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Kansas.
Ms. Christie began working as a law clerk with The Law Offices of Adam R. Banner during her second year of law school. During that time, Ms. Christie gained experience in all stages of the criminal process for various misdemeanor and felony cases ranging from arraignment to dismissal or jury acquittal. Additionally, Ms. Christie has been involved in drafting successful appeals in front of the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals and the Oklahoma Supreme Court.
Ms. Christie is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and is licensed to practice in all Oklahoma State courts.
